On
arrival at the bow end of “A” deck he photographed the tugs “Hector” and
“Neptune” as they manoeuvred the “Titanic” around. This image is
carefully constructed to convey a sense of activity on the “Titanic”, no
doubt enlivened by the fact that no ship of this size had been so
manoeuvred before; the power employed by the tugs is emphasised by the
smoke belching from “Neptune's” funnel. |
